Sometimes, when you find yourself snapping at your husband, your kids, your co-workers--the hapless checkout or bagging person at the supermarket--it becomes your job to lighten up. Forget your to-do list for one hour and play. Of course you have obligations to get things done, but your bigger obligation is to the universe and yourself. When walking from your workplace to your car or bus stop, skip four steps; tell a joke (we all know one for just such occasions!); or smile at the next person you see and say to them, "Wow, aren't you that movie star!" and let them tell you which one. The power of your own brilliance will burn off the damp November drizzle in your soul.
If you need help finding your brilliance, see the sidebar and contact me for a personal angel-guide consultation.
Today, get out those jacks or chalk up the sidewalk for a game of hop scotch and play on!
Namaste!
